Basic mapping...Not detailed enough...It is of the older version of the garmin range, as opposed to the SP3, GPS V and IQUE...Are you the manufacturer / provider of GarmineMap...There are 12 (i think), the unit will need at least 3 to be able to get your position as it uses tri-ang-ulation to pin point you......

I love this little GPS! I am an avid fisherman and hunter, which gives me two good uses for this GPS unit...I have a sunroof in my car, so that is why I was getting a good signal...I wouldn't recommend using it in your car because it is dangerous and distracting to fumble with something while driving...
First off, the base map that comes with it is good only for medium to long trips...Because GPS signals are so weak, the antenna needs to be exposed to the sky to keep a good signal...I recommend it highly for people who take long trips on the interstate system...
