I bought it when it was more than triple its current price and thought it was good deal then...Although Garmin does a good job of releasing updates to their system software that either fixes bugs or adds enhancements, the cost to update the built-in maps is extra...This is very bad for a hiker or motorcycle rider...

Good size display, built-in bateries and speakers, stores MP3's and pictures...I've already owned a car with a factory GPS in it and after getting rid of it, I purchased the StreetPilot 2720, which I kept for 2 days...I am very happy with my decision and would highly recommend......

Also, tried MP3 player and has good sound quality...The music thru the Garmin speaker is not that good but it sounds just fine though the headphone's the wife uses when plugged into the aux...easy to use and accurate...
