I've had my MT6840 for just over 4 months now, and I am very happy with it...Might get 2gigs soon, but it's not too bad with 1gig anyway...I would highly recommend this laptop, but replace the 2x 512's with at least 2x 1GB's...

Seems like a good value when you first buy it...I bought it for $450 and spent another $50 to bring the RAM up to 2GB and figured I had found a good cheap computer...Don't buy this computer! The hardware is junk and cheaply made...
I am extremely happy with this laptop so far...I realize you get what you pay for usually, but if you're budget-conscious you could do a lot worse than the MT6840...for the price i think its a great little laptop...
