However, as we discovered with the HP Jornada 420 (reviewed issue 56, p169), a big-named manufacturer doesn't guarantee a big-time performance, so we took nothing for granted when we unwrapped the Compaq Aero 2130...Another area where the Aero falls down slightly is in its text input...

I have owned numerous of these over the years, and although they are no longer available from Compaq they can be picked up for very cheap on Ebay...I thought I would try to use it since it was otherwise just sitting on a shelf...Since this discovery my Compaq aero 2130 has sat on its shelf...These are refered to as Smart phones, and they are a lot smarter than a Compaq Aero 2130...
