Our photo-printing Labs have often seen HP coming top for image quality, and with the range of media card slots and the handy 2.75in LCD clearly aimed at home enthusiasts we were curious to see whether the budget C4180 continued the trend...It was still horribly grainy, with severe banding - nowhere near as good as even the Lexmark's 200dpi scan...Despite its near flawless photo performances,...
It wouldn't be so bad if the print quality was worth the wait...As with most AIO models, the C4180 offers direct printing from a range of memory cards including CF, SD/MMC, xD, Memory Stick (and Duo) cards and everything can be viewed on the units 6cm colour screen...48-bit colour depth and the top optical resolution can create massive scan files, over 500MB in some cases, and scanning quality...
Kind of slow printer speed (I'm spoiled though using lazerjets at school that print 100 P.P.M.) Overall a great printer to do my basic college printing and document editing...I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good budget printer that just needs a few pages daily printed...Good printer for the buck.It does everything as advertised.It installed quickly no fuss no pains...
Only negative I have is that HP does not give you full ink tanks with their printers, its a bit more than a sample, but, ok, the printer is so good, I accept it...Overall I am thrilled with the output...Its too bad, my old HP printer is 7 yrs old and working great...
