And it helps the G3010 do a creditable job of scanning 35mm slides and strips of film, at least in terms of quality if not speed...But what the G3010 does best is scan photographic prints, at both reasonable speeds and reasonably high quality...This isn't to say that the G3010 can't do other kinds of scanning as well...The Twain driver is both easy to use and offers reasonably...

When you do that, you tell HP to sample at whatever it takes to create an output file of that size with the recommended Resolution of 200 dpi...It looked good to us so we told Scan Pro to scan...There's no profile for the G3010 and it wasn't recognized by VueScan (which would have allowed us to make one...It may not sound like it, but we liked the G3010...
