We chose this tv in the end when the salesman told us it had the identical panel to the equivalent Panasonics (but a different chip and a few more bells and whistles), and because he cut us a very good deal at $2850...We are thrilled with it and would recommend it to anyone...Don't pass up this tv! Good picture, great surround sound, nice matte finish...
