I was surprised at the overall quality compared to others I have owned (I go through at least 1 coffee maker every year...It also looks great and makes a good cup of coffee...I was looking for a Krups but I must say this was cheaper and makes just about as good cup as ny old Krups...
I got this coffeemaker about a week ago...It does make noise, but not loud at all...It is a slightly hefty coffeemaker so you might want to consider this if your counter space is limited...
