Multiformat DVD compatibility, built-in flash...Low-quality construction, unresponsive handling with hard-to-operate menu system...Since DVD camcorders tend to be aimed at point-and-shoot enthusiasts looking for ease of control, it doesn't bode well that Hitachi's flagship DZ-GX3300A is so awkward to operate...The DZ-GX3300A certainly features a competent...
Pretty good video...Good sound....Slight reddish color cast in test shots...No features that stand out from the competition....This means it's a bad time for any manufacturer to produce a camcorder that doesn't do anything more than last year's model and offers so-so video quality to boot...Unfortunately, that's what I found with the Hitachi DZGX3300A miniDVD camcorder ($799.95
Manual focus using the touch-sensitive buttons was difficult...Toward the far end of the zoom range, it just wasn't enough to compensate for hand shake...Sound from the adequately sensitive internal microphone was good, and it didn't pick up any noise from the lens's drive motor...
I called Hitachi and after a LONG phone call was basically told that I had bad luck and they were sorry...I definitely would not recommend this product as it is too tempermental and difficult to use, not to mention the heartache caused by losing precious moments such as the ones we lost today...I'd recommend to use this camcorder as it is the best in it's category with excellent quality...
A tendency to move the camera when pressing the button...Still a lot of fun to play with though...A little internet searching for software, ram disks and add-ons makes it pretty neat...
HitachiDZ-GX3300A has a decent low-light video quality...This camcorder is amazing for its picture quality and ease of use.You can enjoy its many features at a fairly reasonable price for home use...The HitachiDZ-GX3300A is a camcorder delight...
