I don't mind the size at all because I would rather have a good cooling system over a small box with a fan going...I would highly recommend getting this drive and coming back here if you have any questions...Keeping the partitions is a good way to organize stuff without making new folders...
this 250gb hard drive comes partitioned into seven different sections each 31.9 GB in size...seems solid, well-designed, and worked right out of the box on Windows XP...I have a 120GB SimpleTech drive (with 1 partition) that works good and a 160GB Western Digital Media drive (1 partition) that works equally fine so I'm subtracting 2 stars for the 8 partitions on this 250GB drive...
The biggest thing for me is that there is no way to do a checksum or other verification that all data was written correctly Price Can't rely too much on the Dantz backup express software that comes with it...The idea of the tri-select backup buttons is good if it had a good piece of software to use with it...I'm still currently out to find a better software backup solution...
