The only bad points I have found are the stills are only 300k per image not one million like I thought, so while you can take many pictures the quality isn't great but it's good and the pictures are clear...you can record video to the memory card.The battery is only good for 1 hour but they give you 2...I haven't used all the features but overall for the price and features this is a excellent camcorder...
Also, the lens cover doesn't stay on -- I don't know if this is just a bad design for a lens cover, or if I should ask JVC for a new one......Overall, given the cost, this thing seems really good...A real 25X optical zoom, better than many others, good quality in low light...
