I would highly recommend this camcorder to anybody seeking a hard disk drive camcorder...The digital image stabilization works good, but not as well as the optical image stabilizers in Panasonic's cameras and camcorders...The 680k ccd is standard definition so don't expect good pictures in the camera mode...
