small, light,no disks,no tapes...none...we bought ours about 9 months ago...i would highly recommend anyone thinking of buying a camcorder to seriously consider this one...the pictures are very clear .the software that is included is also very good making your home movies look near to professional......

Summary is that this camera is very convenient, battery life is less than 1 hour, video quality during the day is good, during the night is no quality at all and in low light you should play a little bit with the settings...So 5 stars for the idea minus 1 star for battery, bad manual and average video quality...It is very small and light and the recording quality is really good...
As this device uses a hard disk drive I figured this should not be a problem and so far so good...this camcorder is compact, light, and looks great...bad in low light and if you movie the camera around the picture blurs I purchased this camera because we had our first baby on the way and wanted to be able to get some video of her...
