We couldn't discern a difference between a standard optical mouse and this one, though, even with fiddly jobs...For the same money you could have Microsoft's Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, which has a better scroll wheel and superior build quality...Indeed, the only reason we don't recommend it is Microsoft's continued mastery of the mouse and keyboard market...
