priced around £200, the 5500 offers more or less the same feature set but boosted with more serious office additions...The 5500 has a slightly bigger footprint than the 5300 and has the same style of relatively flimsy, articulated sliders for the paper supports...The print head is permanent and part of the printer (as opposed to part of the ink tanks) and uses 3840 high density nozzles...

I have used everything on the Kodak except the fax mode, the two sided feature is great, the draft mode is just as good as the final mode on the HP, it scanned great and the pictures were A1...The HP is a very good printer and it starts faster than the Kodak, but overall the 5500 is a better bang for the money...I certainly didn't need it, I just wanted it because it looks...

Seriously, don't think twice...get this amazing printer!! I bought the printer and found it worked ok for a second or two then it said it had a bad printer head...I would recommend this printer to anyone as long as they understand that the printer head might be bad and needs to be replaced...Over all a good printer once you have it working right...
