The Lenovo 3000 C100 is the first machine we?ve seen that hasn?t used an IBM casing and from first impressions, we're impressed...A front-loading CD rewriter enables the backup of files, and will also play DVDs...What really stands out about the Lenovo 3000 C100 is the build quality and the battery life, neither of which we were expecting in a machine costing so little...
Until recently, Lenovo was a little known brand...With the lid closed, the C100 looks like a fairly normal laptop with a silver lid and rounded edges...The quality isn?t bad, but it actually feels like a panel from an old notebook, possibly due to the slightly poor contrast ratio...
Built like a tank, could stand up to the everyday abuse we as people generally give laptops

Does not sacrifice...Screen seems washed out, and colors easily distort depending on the viewing angle
Non-upgradeable...The C100 is a new model from Lenovo that is targeted at the average consumer or small business buyers, and comes in a lot cheaper...
