What do you expect from a switch...Side note, it didn't seem to work directly connected to my cable modem, because it doesn't have MAC address cloning like the D-Link Router, plus it has no firewall so it is still a good idea to plug it into your existing router/firewall rather than trying to replace it...Nothing was required except plugging the gygabit pc's into it...
