You'll have to settle for a crappy speaker that's good enough for spoken directions but not music...So while this is certainly a good solution for those without a GPS right now, its hardly the best one that leaves Garmin and others in the dust as CNET said in its review...Mounting the unit is a breeze (all mounting options are included) I ?recommend you download the upgrade from the Lowrance's...
I understand giving a bad review to a defective product; however...My bet is a defective unit is tossed on the scrap heap rather than being resold to maintain a good reputation...Why would you, as a manufacturer, risk bad word-of-mouth for a few hundred bucks...
I Bought this a number of years ago because I do a lot of driving for work...It has better Graphics then the factory system in my 05 maxima Great screen, logical arrangement of menus, good navigation lock, plenty of room for tunes, works out of the box...I sent that back, and the second one I got is now suffering from a bad touchscreen...
