All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other people...Got on the phone with Magellan, berated the customer service rep, and was promised a "free" charger via UPS in a week or so (not good enough for me because I needed it NOW to do what I need in enchanted New Mexico before leaving next week...Bought the unlock for the 3D topo map...
Reasonable price and sd card expansion no color screen I like the MagellaneXplorist400 and it is very good upgrading from the eXplorist 200...Overall, this is a good handheld gps unit...Great package for the price ($170 at basicjunk.com) Support is the worst I have ever seen (Edited August 17th by Beauxp) First unit I bought was bad...
nothing yet poor technical help None right hand third of the screen would randomly not display...SD card slot for expandable memory is a plus...Limitless ability to handle map data thanx to SD card storage...
