I currently agree with his conclusion on many areas, this particular (dedicated) MeizuM6 review won't be the most extensive article ever written by (sub)mankind - rather, one can look at it as a "second opinion" from an equally-expertised DAPreview staff member...However, to keep things fair and square, this article was written without any knowledge of Brandon's views...

Slick, beautifully designed & high - performing player, real rival to big brands...Hard to get hold of, no after - sales service as yet...Video performance too is very good, after re-encoding...Bundled earbuds are, as ever, not that good...It has a good photo-viewing package, with plenty of slideshow features, and the ability to go on playing music while viewing photos......

The sound coming of this unit is INCREDIBLE!!! It realy sounds good in car stereo systems where you can plug the unit in via an audio-to-audio cable! Meizu's M6 miniplayer really is an ipod killer for people who don't mind learning the user interface...Unless I've just cleaned it, the back of this player just doesn't look good...The first one is that it scratches easily...
I absolutely love my meizu! Being able to drap and drop mp3 files and not having to bother with iTunes or anything like that is a major pro in my opinion...The sound quality is stunning (it sounds better through auxillary in my car than CD's with the extra EQ tweaking abilities) and its a solid unit...To convert and be able to play far higher quality videos, use "BatMan...
Since losing my Iriver T30, I was in search for a new flash mp3 player that has more than 1 GB capacity and can also play videos...I heard about Meizu from another website and for the price and capacity, I though it would be a good buy...I can't say enough good things about this thing...
