nice design, NOAA channels, battery pack...requires whip antenna for improved range...Capable of accessing 40 CB channels and 10 NOAA weather channels, Midland75-822 is designed like classic CB handsets with the push-to-talk button on the side...The 75-822 also has knobs on the top of the unit for squelch and volume...For consumers put off by unreliable 2-way radios...
