I noticed that the dust doesn't blow around or settle on the floor but is actually sucked into the bag! The HEPA filter addition is a plus with 2 cats! I highly recommend it...But for me, it's a good way to workout my arms...We recommend this vacuum - I was a little apprehensive about spending more than $200 on a stick vacuum, but the MieleS163 is definitely worth it...
