If you buy this, buy the Mintek1770 Kit, also sold here at Amazon...It worked really good until we hit a patch of road in NY that was all torn up...If you buy ANY portable dvd player I whould advice you to buy a case because most people that dont get dust in the dvd players and will cause alot of problems...
The Pre-amp on this unit could have a bit more output so your regular volume levels can be used on your outside source but it is still not bad...I anticipate good reliability because I have owned 2 Mintek home DVD players for a number of years...I have come to know good things from the Mintek name...
