I compared this to LCD projections side by side on the showroom floor & this clearly had a better picture...For a TV this wide, TV stands can get expensive! Find yourself a cheap strong good looking coffee table that matches your room...make sure it has drawers or a lower level, to store your DVD player & other stuff if you want...It was so bad I had to end my set up...
