The extensions sound quality is fine, and the base is very good...This phone in a nutshell, looks good, but it sucks!! I should have heeded the warnings! The sound quality on this phone is lousy...The overall feature set is acceptable, but if the sournd quality isn't there, then nothing else matters! I'm returning this phone and am off to the next one...

The positive: It works, and sounds good to others on both the base (corded) phone and extension phone...While it is easy -- and in fact a good feature not noted above -- to program both the base and extension phone(s) to ring hi/low/off according to separate settings for "day" versus "night", the usefulness of the "night" setting is negated by the speaker not turning off...The number buttons are not...

This is a very helpful feature.

The display is easy to read and the orange backlight creates good viewing contrast...With the Caller ID bug, I'm not interested in further investment but for its intended purpose, it's not too bad...This is a solid purchase and I highly recommend it with out a second's hesitation...
