Reliable, no constant reboots like some, good wireless strength, many encryption options, inexpensive Have had 1 of at least 20 go bad within the first year, which isn't bad at all, and the Netgear did handle the RMA relatively well...These are the basic routers I offer to my customers, as they are very good for basic to intermediate users...Overall, this router works great for the average...

Bottom line, tech support is a joke, if you have a problem...It does a good job of detecting what devices are connected to minimize having to type in MAC or IP addresses...Perhaps this was just a bad one out of the batch...
The router is on the second floor and there is not a spot, even in the basement, where I can hide from good signal...I took my laptop outside and I can get good connection up to 200' from my house...Overall, I would highly recomend this product...
