Gigabit LAN ports...Great performance at up to 80 feet...URL filtering....No QoS or 5-GHz band...Relatively slow at 80 feet and beyond....You'll get top-of-the line quality and very good close-to-midrange performance at modest cost with this updated version of the Netgear RangeMax Next Wireless-N Router Gigabit Edition, WNR854T...Still, the WNR854T continues to be a solid product...

The WNR854T uses the same slab-sided white chassis as the DG834N and for good reason as the multiple aerials needed for MIMO operations are all hidden inside...Before we dive into the guts of the router we would strongly recommend that you check its firmware version and upgrade to the latest...

Very bad choice!!!!!!!!!!! Make shure you have another router on hand because this one will quit on you...After mine stopped working I started looking around and discovered that tons of other people around the net have had similarly bad experiences...However, I cannot in good faith recommend this unit to anyone...
