Plugged it in and it worked right away...This switch works great I was looking for a good quality switch with snmp etc...I've had good luck with lower-end Netgear products in the past, but this switch just doesn't cut it...
If you are in the market for an L2 managed switch, you can't ignore netgear's gsm7248 switch...I swapped out my aging 10/100 HP 4000M switches for these 7248 switches and can't believe how these perform for the price...This is a very solid product by netgear...I am truly impressed with the 7248...definitely worth consideration...
