As if this wasn't bad enough, the backlighting is uneven, the contrast low, and the font too small for older eyes, so it's difficult to tell what's playing anyway...I heartily recommend AGAINST this product (and won't be buying Nextar again...I liked the price, and the fact that it was a good started player for my younger children, but it didn't even hold up under normal...
This may be a bad thing for some, I have no idea if that works as expected with organizing software (iTunes, winamp, realplayer, whatnot) but it's just right for me...It seems fairly good about not burning through batteries, but perhaps the back light would eat up more if I used it...PROS: *CHEAP *Easy to put music onto this...
