I like that it's small and the flip lens is rather fun and it has some neat lighting options...But that's about all the good points...The 3500 takes very grainy photos, so its not a good replacement...

But that's about all the good points...The pictures can be great if you don't use the digital zoom and it's /VERY/ difficult to take good still without it turning out blurry...It has traveled with me extensively and while the LCD screen is a little scratched up it has overall endured a rough life very well...
