It takes nice pictures under good lighting situations, and particularly outdoor situations...The zoom is good and unheard of for a camera this size...It's certainly not a high-end DSLR, but it's good at what it does, and it offers some nice pluses over other cameras in its price range...
For people who tend to leave their cameras on auto ( I think most 'point and shoot owners do) it is very easy, plenty of zoom and good quality prints...When shooting inside under low light, the pictures go from average to bad...Have not had a bad picture yet...
The clarity it gives is really worth its price...Dig deeper into the advanced features and this camera shines even brighter! I don't regret this purchase one bit! And, of course, New Egg's service is amazing!
