Pretty much anyone can take good pictures with this camera (when the manual is read...The VR (vibration reduction) lens accounts for camera shake and more pictures are likely to come out clearer which is always a good thing in those candid, spur of the moment shots...In the end it means more good pictures! I also love the anti-glare coating on the lcd screen so you can see what is on the screen even...
The 2.7 inch LCD is the best LCD I have seen from Nikonin a while, with some past models have bad viewing in sunlight...The amount of grain in the picture on there LCDs is too much for me too handle but lets break this down in to simple pros versers cons...Great Features and easy menu to use Great 4 Optical zoom and stabilization Great outdoor shots ISO at 100-400 decent Very quick startup time one...
A 4X optical zoom is better than most; IS is excellent, and allows a good exposure in almost any lighting situation, especially when combined with automatic ISO adjustment...None really, Nikon has some thing going for it and it would be nice to see them produce a good point and shoot and at least there getting there......But they still got a lot of work ahead of them when it comes to a good...
