I purchased this receiver 4 months ago...Onkyo705 may be a good enough product, but if you need their warranty, you are out of luck...Based on previous experience with Onkyo's remote, I suspect the 705 is not getting the remote commands because its sensor seemed to have a fairly narrow field of view...
