Low price...Menu is convoluted
Doesn't perform well under bright lights...Several attributes--including an affordable price ($999 as of January 11, 2006)--make the OptomaEP719 a good choice as a business and home projector...In our image-quality judging, the EP719 earned average scores for text and graphics display and above-average scores on motion tests...

Overall, the image is infinitely better than on our 21" TV...If you want a business projector that can project a good image in fairly bright environments and double to show movies on Saturday night, this is the one...I thought it would go away after an hour or two, but three days later and many hours, it was just as bad...
When I first hooped up the EP719, I was a little worried...as our photos didn't look very good...We had read some good reviews on this projector...and some bad...Bottom line, for $810...I think it is an excellent projector...and am considering getting one for my personal use...
Brightness, contrast, and resolution all exceded my expectations...If you want to mount your project, I'd pick another model...Other than that, it's perfect! I've replaced my regular monitor with this projector, and I don't regret it a minute...
