Given the slightly annoying flap covering the accessory shoe on the HS300, we actually like this aspect of the TM300 better...I am trying to decide between these 2 excellent cameras (HFS10 and TM300...My overall conclusion is that I would prefer the PANASONIC TM300 at the moment (£300 cheaper and within a cats-whisker of quality...

The TM300K uses three CMOS image sensors to record 1920 x 1080 high definition video...That’s not the highest bit rate supported by the AVCHD format, but you’d have to look long and hard to find any egregious imperfections in the TM300K’s video quality...The TM300K puts its 2.7-inch touch screen LCD display to good use with a selectable autofocus point...Second, and more significant, the unit’s touch-screen...
