Pentax announced a new digital camera, the Optio 330GS, earlier this week (the US announcement was originally scheduled for the 24th, but apparently Europe weren't on the same schedule...An update to the existing Optio 230, the 330GS has a 3.2 megapixel imager, a new image processing chip and a champagne-tinted body...
It has limitations but for a basic 3MP digital camera it has been reliable and under the right condition can take very good pictures...I wanted a smaller compact camera with good quality, I am not into photography as much as I used to due to time, but still wanted image quality...An EXCELLENT camera for the beginner! Makes very good pictures in good light...

Great overall deal and camera, pick one up before you can't get it anymore! Great features and ease of use make this a best buy for those looking for a 3MP camera...This is my first digital camera and I am very happy with it.The pictures are clear and it is a very easy camera to use.I would highly recommend it!! I as initially attracted to the form factor and features of the 230gs but wanted at 3 Mp...
Bottom line is a love my camera 100% percent...3 x digital zoom, several picture modes (including self portrait and 'snow and surf' modes), movie function (upto 30 seconds) and a good autofocus...Good value for money and a quality product...
