The value for the money is excellent, good contruction and ergonomics, nice image quality...I have used Pentax SLRs for years, but brand loyalty wasn't a factor--one needs to spend about $600 to buy the next-cheapest camera with a swivelling LCD! Good points: Compact; solid construction; easy to use; swivelling LCD...If we hadn't needed the swivelling LCD, we would have gotten a camera...
This feature would also be pretty useful for couples on holidays, as you can hold the camera at arms length, line it up, and take a good snap without having to ask a passer-by to take a photo for you...I would therefore recommend you buy an additional SD card which will give you many more pictures...Overall, for a ?100 entry level camera, it is truely excellent value...
Battery life could be better, I understand that this isn't so bad compared to some...It looks good, it has a swivelling view finder (you can take pics of yourself '!!) It uses SD memory & the pictures are great quality, what more can you ask from a camera...Great overall camera, I started using one for work and when I got the chance I purchased one for myself...
