The Optio S4i has a 3x zoom, 5.8-17.4mm lens, the equivalent of a 35-105mm lens on a 35mm camera, just like its predecessor, the Optio S4...It loses some sharpness at closer shooting distances and the corners of its images are a little soft, but overall there seem to have been fewer trade-offs made than in many subcompact models I've seen in the past...In addition to manual and automatic...
The Pentax Optio S4i's attractive silver metal body measures 3.3 by 2 by 0.8 inches, and the camera weighs only 4.5 ounces, including its rechargeable lithium ion battery...If you have large hands, the S4i's small size will pose a challenge when you try to change the zoom with your thumb and keep your finger on the trigger while holding the camera one-handed...The S4i...
