Lots of functions, including an old style 3D capability that works well! This camera is excellent to carry everywhere, and produces good images! You have to buy one of this...Once I read and used it several times it was super easy to move through the menu and access all functions! A+ size, image quality, weight, battery life, image size 5 MP, image quality is awesome, video mode is pretty darned good,...
Looking at ALL of the other cameras, they all have somewhat soft edges and some look soft overall, such as the little Minolta...Overall the Optio S5I is well done, but a better screen and ergonomics would have been welcome...If you want the smallest 5MP unit around, I doubt you'll be disappointed in the Pentax, but I'd still hesitate to recommend it as a primary camera simply...
The mode of compression deliver very good pictures, but its hard to take it off the minimum compression and 5MP mode...A second off brand battery I bought has permanently gone bad and hardly holds a charge...I have already recommended this camera to numerous friends and family...
