Classy looks
Simple interface...Grainy screen
Noisy
Big battery...Alas, unusually for Philips, the screen lets it down...The player's disc mechanism is too noisy - think tumble-dryer rather than high-class turntable - and the large battery has to be bolted on to the back of the unit, spoiling the lines of that clean exterior...The 10-inch LCD is too grainy and the contrast is so high...
