It has good build quality that seems quite sturdy, unlinke a lot of other portable DVD players out there...If you cannot get beyond these negatives, I would recommend going with a Toshiba which has all the features the Phillips is lacking, although is probably not quite as good in terms of display and build quality...I bought this portable DVD player for my two sons (ages 4 and 1 ?) for long car trips...
Works great, and is a really good price for this product...Overall I would definately buy again and for the money is almost impossible to beat...although i wish the volume could be higher its still a very very good buy and i would purchase it again...
the dvd player is very nice overall...Overall - love the recorder - but I can't play any of the home improvement shows I burned in my work shop with this player...Whiel the picture is good quality and can be viewed from either side - you have to look down at it from 90 degrees or above...
