The remote control is a very good one, very easy to use and convenient...But as far as compare to the laser disc, it's very close unless you pay good attention to it or play at lower speed (laser disc is better...Overall, it's a well built player, but there is definitely room to improve...
Can daisy chain a 2nd unit for 600 discs...I'd love to see a progressive scan in the future, but no complaints here...There are no others that can do what they do...

As it is with most high tech equipment, there are seemingly bad experiences and there are good...This unit may have been around a good few years but you wouldn't know it from the specs and its operation...Maybe we'll see a Blueray or HD version in the future but, for the moment, I thoroughly recommend this unit...
