I recently bought this refurbed receiver to replace a Harman Kardon 525, which is an excellent receiver in its own right...I didn't bother with the auto calibration; I used my Rat Shack SPL meter instead...So for the price, the 52TX is an absolute winner...
Good overal receiver, but not worth the money...MCACC set up is OK, but still needs to be tweaked after the automated set up...Also a lack of customer support by Pioneer caused me to return it for a Yamaha receiver...
