When playing the 1812 Overature, the cannons were well produced, if very slightly muddied (as it is one of the few songs that ventures below 50hz) but overall very good...Overall, this subwoofer is probably the best entry subwoofer you can get bar none...Considering the market it's aiming for, this shouldn't be too big of a problem for most people, but owners with good receivers might be a bit vexed...
Would recommend to anyone thats looking into buying a sub for low cost from a reputable brand...The cherry colored vinyl is very good looking btw...I highly recommend it if your decor calls for a wood finish instead of the black finish...
That said, it will do its best work in small to moderate-size rooms...The extended warranty offers five years of protection on the woofer and three years on the electronics--pretty decent considering that the electronics warranty on many other products is often limited to just 12 months...But the PSW10 delivered every thump and rumble with the utmost clarity...
