The cons are that it doesn't say anywhere in the manual that it comes from the factory with the contrast and brightnessed turned way up, and this caused mine to get image burn on the sides where the black border is during most tv programs...It seemed like a great deal but after only 1 year and less than 2 weeks after the warranty expired the convergence went bad...Sounds like a good deal broken I bought...
Sounds like a good deal peice of crap! I bought this TV a little less than two years ago from Wal-Mart...not that it matters where you buy it...but my son comes running into me saying it's broken...clear screen CONVERGENCE went out AT FIRST THIS TV SEEMED LIKE A GOOD BUY...Module goes bad on a lot of these and takes long time to get fixed...
slim style looks good but looking good and good looking are two different things...digital devices required or its picture is even more horrible than a non HDTV set...HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BE WARNED AHEAD OF TIME AND CHOOSE ANOTHER BRAND...
