Good DVD upscaling...1080p is underwhelming
No HDMI 1.3
Too expensive...With Toshiba's forthcoming HD-XE1 HD-DVD player supporting HDMI 1.3, despite costing a few hundred quid less, this is a missed opportunity...This player isn't bad, but it also isn't the revelation we'd been led to expect...xXx looks better than on DVD or Sky HD, but is still a bit grainy and noisy up close......
