From what we've seen, Samsung has succeeded...We wish the HD3 light engine and smaller TI microdisplay chip would bring the price down another $500 to $1,000, but at $3,499, this is still a good value...The HL-P5063Wt has one of the better pictures we've seen on a DLP TV, plenty of inputs, a good remote and menu system, and a reasonable price, making it easy to recommend...

Unbelievable HD picture Slow video switching I was extremely happy with this set...I wrote earlier that I got two bad units in a row and hoped the third would be better--no luck...Some of the Samsung DLPs do not have this issue...
So that's my frame of reference for what is good or bad...or rather what is good or better as none were really bad...I use a surround sound system, but the TVs own generation is very good...The overall opinion from five different places was that the Samsung DLP had less repairs than the LCDs above...
I've had one of these for a month and I think the picture is great and the built in sound is very good...Bought this TV after read many super good reviews here...The one bad thing is that there is a video delay that is visible while playing PS2 games...
