If you have digital cable and mode set to Standard or Dynamic, you will get good picture quality, but the shadows blending will NOT be correct...I used Avia, and Digital Video Essentials to calibrate the RPTV and it worked good for basic calibration...What the Sales people are displaying that make this RPTV have a great picture, is that there is a good chance that it is attached to Blue ray disk player...
Starts up in 7 seconds which for dlp is very good...If it is in your price range, it may be a good choice...Overall, the TV shows a bright and beautiful, but expensive, picture...
