Took this to the Lake District and photos look very good on a monitor and even better when printed...Nicely exposed (use the custom white balance mode), no purple fringing, good colours, sharp (even more so if tweaked with picassa), pretty good out of the camera but even better when edited...Easy to use, good build quality, very good movie mode, and excellent battery life...
