This is one good looking set and the people who have seen it are impressed...As good as the picture is, the sound doesn't quite measure up to the quality of the picture...I'd recommend a separate system for the sound...

This TV is in my mid size livingroom Looks huge (good thing...You can even enjoy regular SD (non HD) programming, it looks much better than on most LCDs Blacks are very good, i can actually watch dark scenes of any movie and still see good details...Overall very pleased with TV, so far no disappointments in any department It is best bang for your buck today I did a lot of research on various units...
One of our concerns was the picture quality when watching standard TV, but standard TV on this set is just as good if not better than on standard picture tube TV sets...I didn't want cheap, I wanted a good brand-name, and a great picture...Highly recommended! Oh, I would have liked a cable-card for future use, but that was not available...
